Bangun Arta is a rapidly growing Indonesian-based holding company that is active in several industries. The group is divided into three main business holding operations concentrating in Limestone Mining, Lime Production and Bulk Material Handling Services.

The group was founded in 1982 by the chairman Mr. Haryanto Basoeni under the name of CV. Bangun Arta. The business started originally in Limestone Mining and Lime Production. From 1994 onwards, the group expanded into new business sectors in the area of Coal Handling Services. It is within this period that the group gained scale and depth in respective industries and to build a solid foundation for future growth.

In 2013, Bangun Arta was one of the fastest growing business conglomerates in Indonesia. Bangun Arta involved in several industries, such as in Transshipment, Chemical Cleaning, Steel Fabrication and Lime Kiln.
