SPB was founded in 2005 as the first international curriculum school in Cirebon. In 2011, SPB became Cambridge International School with ID -171 and in 2014 officially received its license as Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama (SPK) from the Ministry of Education and Culture. SPB has been accredited “A” (Excellent) by Badan Akreditasi Nasional and is appointed as a regional partner of Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO). SPB has worked with the College of Education, Concordia University, USA for many years. In 2018, SPB became an Online HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) testing center.
